Upon further investigation it was learned that Daniel Fournier, 63, East Hardwick, had consumed alcohol. Fournier has conditions of release from Caledonia Court not to consume alcohol. Fournier was placed under arrest and processed at the Hardwick Police Department.

Upon investigation it was learned that Daniel Fournier had consumed alcohol. Fournier has conditions of release from Caledonia Court stating he must not consume alcohol. Fournier was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.

The operator was observed by Hardwick Police as he headed east on South Main Street. Police followed the vehicle onto Vermont Rte. 15 and conducted a traffic stop on Rte. 15 near the Quicklane shop. The operator, identified as Carmelo Deida Jr., was operating with a criminally suspended license. Deida Jr. has been cited into the Caledonia unit of the Superior Court of Vermont, Criminal Division, to be arraigned on the charge.
